Acceptable Use Policy

1. Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") outlines the prohibited uses of AgentSearch's AI-powered search service. This policy is designed to protect our users, our service, and the broader internet community from irresponsible or illegal uses of our technology.
By using AgentSearch, you agree to comply with this AUP. Violations may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account without refund.
2. General Principles
You agree to use AgentSearch:
- In compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
- In a manner that respects the rights and dignity of others
- Responsibly and ethically
- Without causing harm to our service, users, or third parties
- In accordance with our Terms of Service
3. Prohibited Activities
3.1 Illegal Activities
You may NOT use AgentSearch to:
- Engage in or promote illegal activities
- Violate any local, state, national, or international law
- Facilitate fraud, scams, or financial crimes
- Plan, coordinate, or execute criminal activities
- Infringe upon intellectual property rights (copyright, trademark, patents)
- Access, use, or distribute child sexual abuse material (CSAM)
- Facilitate human trafficking or exploitation
3.2 Harmful Content
You may NOT use AgentSearch to generate, search for, or distribute:
- Content that promotes violence, terrorism, or extremism
- Hate speech or content that incites discrimination based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics
- Content that harasses, bullies, or threatens individuals
- Self-harm or suicide-related content
- Graphic violence or gore
- Malware, viruses, or malicious code
- Spam or unsolicited commercial content
3.3 Privacy Violations
You may NOT:
- Attempt to identify, dox, or stalk individuals
- Share private or personal information without consent
- Impersonate others or create fake identities
- Use the service to collect personal data from third parties
- Violate others' privacy rights or data protection laws
3.4 Security and System Abuse
You may NOT:
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, servers, or networks
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of our systems
- Bypass security measures, rate limits, or access controls
- Use automated tools to scrape or harvest data from our service
- Overload or attempt to disable our infrastructure (DoS/DDoS attacks)
- Reverse engineer our AI models or proprietary technology
- Share or resell your API keys or account credentials
- Create multiple accounts to circumvent rate limits or restrictions
3.5 Misinformation and Manipulation
You may NOT use AgentSearch to:
- Deliberately generate or spread false information or propaganda
- Create deepfakes or manipulated media to deceive others
- Manipulate search results or game our ranking algorithms
- Conduct coordinated inauthentic behavior or astroturfing campaigns
- Interfere with elections or democratic processes
3.6 Abuse of AI Models
You may NOT:
- Attempt to jailbreak or manipulate our AI models to bypass safety filters
- Use the service to train competing AI models without permission
- Extract or reconstruct our training data
- Use the service for adversarial testing without prior authorization
3.7 Commercial Abuse
You may NOT:
- Resell or redistribute our service without a commercial license
- Use free tier accounts for commercial purposes
- Violate intellectual property rights of content sources
- Use the service to compete directly with AgentSearch
3.8 Resource Abuse
You may NOT:
- Exceed rate limits or usage quotas repeatedly
- Use the service for cryptocurrency mining
- Submit intentionally malformed or malicious queries
- Abuse free trials or promotional offers
4. Monitoring and Enforcement
4.1 Automated Detection
We use automated systems to detect and prevent prohibited activities, including:
- Content filtering and moderation
- Rate limiting and abuse detection
- Anomaly detection for unusual usage patterns
- Security monitoring for unauthorized access attempts
4.2 Human Review
Suspicious activity may be flagged for human review. Our team may investigate:
- Reported violations from users or third parties
- Unusual usage patterns detected by our systems
- High-volume or automated queries
4.3 User Reports
Users can report violations through our feedback system or by contacting abuse@agentsearch.com. All reports are reviewed promptly.
5. Consequences of Violations
Violations of this AUP may result in one or more of the following actions:
5.1 Warning
First-time minor violations may result in a warning and request to cease the activity.
5.2 Temporary Suspension
Repeated or moderate violations may result in temporary account suspension (7-30 days).
5.3 Permanent Termination
Serious violations (e.g., illegal activity, security attacks) will result in immediate account termination without refund.
5.4 Legal Action
We reserve the right to:
- Report illegal activities to law enforcement
- Cooperate with investigations and legal proceedings
- Pursue civil or criminal action for damages
- Share information with affected third parties
5.5 API Access Revocation
API abuse will result in immediate revocation of API keys and potential account termination.
6. Reporting Violations
If you encounter content or behavior that violates this AUP:

- Description of the violation
- Links or screenshots (if applicable)

7. Appeals Process
If your account has been suspended or terminated for an alleged AUP violation:
- Contact appeals@agentsearch.com within 30 days
- Provide your account information and explanation
- We will review your appeal within 5-7 business days
- Decisions on appeals are final
8. Third-Party Content
AgentSearch aggregates content from various third-party sources. While we make reasonable efforts to filter harmful content:
- We are not responsible for third-party content accuracy or legality
- Search results may contain content that violates this AUP
- Users should report problematic search results
- We continuously improve our filtering systems
9. Cooperation with Law Enforcement
We cooperate with law enforcement agencies in accordance with applicable laws. We may disclose user information:
- In response to valid legal requests (subpoenas, warrants)
- To prevent imminent harm or danger
- To protect our rights, property, or users
- To comply with legal obligations
10. Responsible AI Use
We are committed to responsible AI development and use. We expect users to:
- Use AI-generated content responsibly
- Verify information before acting on it
- Disclose when content is AI-generated (where appropriate)
- Not use AI to manipulate or deceive others
- Report AI safety issues or vulnerabilities
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this AUP to address new risks, technologies, or legal requirements. Significant changes will be communicated via email or through a prominent notice on our website. Continued use of the service after changes indicates acceptance.
